About Author

Rev. Reginald Lee Bachus is a devoted believer in Jesus Christ and a passionate advocate for the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. With a diverse background spanning faith and religion, community and economic development, activism, real estate, business, and law, Rev. Bachus is uniquely equipped to lead in this significant time. His spiritual heritage and wide-ranging life experiences have prepared him to be a voice of influence, inspiring individuals to walk boldly in their purpose.

A proud descendant of faith leaders and educators, Rev. Bachus continues a legacy of service. He is the paternal grandson of Rev. Dr. C.L. Bachus and Dr. Wilma N. Bachus, the maternal grandson of Vicky Tucker, and the son of Rev. Dr. Reginald E. Bachus and lifelong educator Detra L. Bachus.

Rev. Bachus currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Mount Ollie Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York—a place where lives are transformed and faith is ignited through miracles, signs, and wonders. Having previously led the church from 2011 to 2015, he returned in 2021, guiding the congregation through a new season of growth and development. Under his leadership, the church has expanded in both membership and financial sustainability and is positioned for continued impact.

A distinguished scholar and leader, Rev. Bachus graduated from high school with honors, serving as class president and excelling as a student-athlete. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, where he also served as Mr. Prairie View, held executive positions in the Student Government Association and the National Society of Black Engineers, and served as a two-time Polemarch (President) of the Zeta Beta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. His activism began early—he played a key role in organizing a historic march that challenged voter disenfranchisement in Waller County, Texas, an effort that garnered both local and national attention.

In 2019, he co-founded The 400 Foundation, a faith-based advocacy organization dedicated to addressing systemic inequities. The foundation has secured legislative victories for Black communities and implemented workforce development programs that employed hundreds and distributed over one million meals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After earning his Juris Doctor in December 2021, Rev. Bachus launched real estate and construction firms to assist faith-based institutions with renovations and housing developments. Most recently, after successfully passing the New York State Bar Exam in 2024, he has reached what he calls “the final step of preparation for the next move of God.”
Now expanding his impact internationally, Rev. Bachus is actively engaged in a faith-based trust initiative in South Africa, strengthening global connections within the Black diaspora. His journey is a testament to faith, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to God’s plan.

To God be the glory for the great things He has done—and the even more incredible things yet to come!
